Challenge
Founded in 2021, Box Genie was a brand new packaging company and it did not have an email marketing program at all. Hawke Media’s challenge was to create a program that could be profitable immediately and lay the foundation for programs such as building a distribution list or segmentation strategy.
APPROACH
First, Hawke Media established an email capture and started building a distribution list. Hawke produced the email strategy, email copy and designs, A/B testing, segmentation, and analysis. The initial strategy was to implement traditional automations such as Welcome Series, Abandon Cart, Browse Abandonment, and Replenish, and then custom automations.
SOLUTION
Box Genie saw immediate success with their automated emails, Hawke helped roll out a weekly campaign. By the end of the year, the email program was attributed to half of the annual revenue.
