Initially an events-based agency, East Olivia successfully rebranded itself at the start of the pandemic as a D2C ecommerce store shipping beautiful, preserved floral arrangements across the country.
With the change in direction, the brand struggled to get consistent results from its paid social campaigns. Hawke Media stepped in to develop and test paid social campaigns and benchmark performance against the competition.
East Olivia knew Mother’s Day had a lot of revenue potential, so it came to Hawke beforehand to optimize social media ads in time for the holiday. We implemented new campaign types like Advantage+ Shopping and leveraged customer lists that were previously underutilized.

We found that tapping into a male audience in a traditionally female-oriented product produced some of the best results and that the audience responded best to video and static-image ads.
